Amanda Leise
Faculty & Starbound Company Director
Originally from Boulder, Colorado, performed, taught and choreographed in LA and Dallas from 2002 to 2013. She attended CU as a dance major and since moving back to Colorado is faculty and co-director of Starbound company at Dance Dimensions. Amanda has taught at the EDGE Performing Arts Center, Hollywood Vibe, Urban Jamm, Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop, and Fusion Dance Workshop. She is in high demand as a Master teacher and choreographer in the U.S. and abroad. She was a guest teacher in Nicosia, Cyprus for Dance Anonymous, as well as a teacher/choreographer for the internationally known Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop for the past 8 years. She has performed and choreographed for Dee Caspary’s “Nvitational” and Adam Parson’s “Essential”. Along with teaching, she is a member of Wild Heart Dance Company and Interweave Dance Theatre. Amanda has an infectious enthusiasm that says “let’s do this, and while we’re at it let’s have some fun.”
She looks forward to sharing her passion and teaching her students how to express themselves through the art of dance.
